You can delete your Termlee account from inside the app at any time. You do not need to email us, phone us, or ask permission.
Everything in your account is removed from our servers:
This is not a deactivation. The records are removed, and signing in again does not bring them back.
One thing remains: a one-way scrambled version of your email address or phone number, and the date you deleted the account.
It cannot be turned back into your address or your number, and it contains nothing about you, your children or their school reports.
We keep it for a single reason. If you ever sign in again with the same email address or phone number, we can tell you plainly that you deleted this account on that date — rather than showing you an empty screen and leaving you to wonder whether your family's records had been lost. We keep it indefinitely, because the question it answers does not expire.
If you only want to remove one child, you can do that instead. In Settings, find the child under Your children and tap the delete icon beside their name. That removes their reports, marks, comments and images, and leaves the rest of your account as it is.
If you have lost access to your phone or cannot sign in, write to hello@termlee.com from the email address on the account and we will delete it for you.
Our full privacy policy explains what we collect, where it is stored, and who we share it with.
